microBDE

microGlas-6 is able to follow the working processes via BDE and interactively support and influence them (CAM = computer aided manufacturing).
The following areas can be seen as examples:
· Registering of orders through the taking out of storage.
· Taking the record of steps of procedures in general.
· Taking the record of the consequences of lining up on trestles.
· Reports on the condition of slot trolleys for introduction according to the following steps of procedure.
· Presentation of currently relevant data for a subsequent prossessing step within the production via scanning of the Bar Code of the workpiece to be processed. The present data can typically be the measurements, the structure of the glass, the position of the slot trolleys or the graphical presentation.
· Checks for completeness of the loading of consignment tristles before dispatching them along with the necessary building of partial orders if need be.
· Activation of buisness processes out of production areas (e.g. the printing of (partial) delivery notes) without the usage of a terminal via scanning of a corresponding action code.
· Monitoring of the truck loading and comparing of the tour planning.

Within the production area we mainly use cordless scanners for the BDE readings. For the supporting of production mostly PCs via W-Lans (radio network) are used.

For the application in the storage area especially there are also W-LAN scanners on the basis of so-called PDAs available. These can be supplement by the GSM and GPS modules and can therefore be used inside the delivering truck, too.
