microGlas-5

As the number already indicates microGlas-5 is the previous product to microGlas-6.
microGlas-5 was developed as a final version by H&O-Industriecomputer GmbH; the rights were taken over by the engineering office of E.-U. Otten in 1999.
The main characteristic of microGlas-5 is based on the possibility in electronic data processing of the 80s and the early 90s. In those days graphical user-interface (GUIs) did not exist yet; if so they were extremely expensive, so that sign-oriented presentations on terminals were used.
The engineering office of E.-U. Otten does not work on any further development of microGlas-6, but only puts assistence for application at one's disposal and occasionally carries out some minor corrections or adaptions within the program.
The structure of data of microGlas-6 resulted from the basis of microGlas-5 and in the meantime was supplemented by additional fields being necessary, which relevantly put into practice new aspects of application. From that point of view people using microGlas-5 can automatically switch to microGlas-6 without any severe difficulties.
