microOpt
- microOpt is a program to minimize the glass scraps of a current amount of production.
microOpt contains two files for transfering data which:
- · a) contain the types of glass and its raw meansures to be optimized as well as additional information like e.g. the minimal breaking distance and maximum width between traversol cuts.
· b) contain the entities to be optimized with its measures to be cut as well as the composition of glass (single glass and double or triple sealed units (insulating glass))
- microOpt searches within the file according to "b)" the types of glass determined in "a)" and builds an optimum for each glass. As a result (to be called X-Code) a file is produced with the geomtrical arrangement of the single glasses within the stock sizes.
If need be this can be converted into other codes for the corresponding cutting system and supplement by the model data. Furthermore, this X-Code is a basis for the printing of cutting pictures and for the calculation of placement organisations, if the sequence of breaking is to be considered.
