handling of project and initial introduction
- Having decided upon a project and after numerous detailed discussions, we usually build working diagramms which present the co-working of each planned-out buisness processes. This is especially crucial in the area of the organisation of the production as well as for the integration of the BDE-operations.
On this basis, the desired user system is created and tested throught a testing system derived from the standard operations of the software.
The hardware should then be available about 4 to 6 weeks before the initial starting process and should be installed at the user's workplace after first trial operations.
During novel installations or larger rearrangements, we usually carry throught the introduction at the customer's workplace and accompany him thereafter for further adjustments.
Doing so, the following areas are put into focus:
- · basic handling
· the registration of the master data
· the monitoring of price and cost calculations
· the registration of orders and processing.
- In this place a lot of employees are usually schooled which keep the travel expenses down and the employees learn to handle the system properly.
Within this phase one often comes up with special needed operations which can usually be solved in short time. All this usually happens in 2 phases with a fortnight in between which the users of the software should take advantage of in order to complete the master data and to practice the main operating steps.
During this phase we use this time mainly for further adjustment of the forms and the planning of production etc. These adjustments usually last until the first weeks of the starting up, because during that period of time final touches of the buisness process come to light. The necessary schooling effort depends on the applied extent of the system. Usually schoolings takes about 8 to 10 days including the starting up.
